Description
Eagle Mountain City is seeking a contractor to construct a new observatory in Walden Park in accordance with the approved construction plans, building permit, specifications, and geotechnical recommendations. The work includes furnishing all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, permits, and construction necessary for the project. The bid schedule covers general requirements, concrete, masonry, metals and structural steel, wood and composite materials, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialty work, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, earthwork, exterior improvements, and landscaping. The observatory includes a steel-framed moving roof, vertically moving wall components, telescope-related foundations, concrete and CMU construction, electrical systems, ventilation, exterior rainscreen panels, site concrete, and related park improvements. A 15-page, single-sided proposal is required, including a transmittal letter, executive summary, detailed discussion of the project team and approach, cost proposal, bid form, insurance documentation, and supporting attachments.
