Description
The project involves replacing a deficient bridge with a new single-span concrete box beam bridge. Addendum 1 requires bidders to submit bids for this project together with the St. Francois County Silver Springs Road Bridge Replacement project; the combined total price will determine the lowest responsive bidder, and both contracts will be awarded to that bidder. Bidders must purchase the plans and specifications through Great River Engineering and be on the planholder list, and must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List. A bid bond or certified cashier's check equal to 5% of the proposal is required. The project has a 0% DBE goal, and second-tier subcontracting is not allowed. Prevailing wage requirements apply.
