Description
IDEA Public Schools is soliciting proposals for a cloud-based Firewall as a Service solution under its Ohio E-Rate Category 2 consortium procurement. The selected vendor must furnish all required licensing, implementation, configuration, support, maintenance, and related services necessary to provide a fully operational solution for the E-Rate funding period. The solution must support a Zero Trust Architecture aligned with NIST Special Publication 800-207 or an equivalent industry-recognized framework. The addendum confirms that vendors must be able to supply all pricing line items. Manufacturer-led implementation and 24/7 support are permitted while the respondent remains the prime contractor and SPI-billing service provider. Evidence of insurance is required with the proposal, and manufacturer or implementation-partner references may supplement, but not replace, the respondent's own relevant past-performance references. The service is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2027, upon expiration of the current service agreement and/or implementation of the newly awarded solution.
