The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking applications through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to foster academic-industrial partnerships for the translation of technologies related to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The goal is to advance the development of new methods and tools that address challenges in basic and applied cancer research, including detection, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. This initiative aims to deliver new capabilities relevant to advancing research and care in pre-clinical, clinical, and non-clinical settings, both domestically and internationally. This funding opportunity is open to a wide range of eligible applicants, including various serving institutions (Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions, Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions), eligible agencies of the Federal Government, faith-based or community-based organizations, Hispanic-serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized), non-domestic (non-U.S.) entities, regional organizations, Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs), and U.S. territories or possessions.
