Description
Correctional Service of Canada, through CORCAN, is seeking qualified instructors to provide Energy Safety Canada-certified H2S Alive and Confined Space training to groups of offenders at correctional institutions and community locations. Each course must include at least six hours of classroom instruction, practical hands-on exercises where required, testing, training materials, manuals, handouts, personal protective equipment, and other necessary equipment. Successful participants must receive certificates. The requirement is divided into three geographic streams, and bidders may submit for one or more streams. The contractor must provide certified instructors, transport all training materials and equipment, complete site orientations and security procedures, and provide equipment lists in advance. The solicitation may result in up to three contracts, with one contract per stream. Proposed instructors must provide current Energy Safety Canada certification and demonstrate delivery of at least six applicable courses within the three years preceding bid closing. The contract includes security requirements, including a Designated Organization Screening and Reliability Status for personnel requiring access to regulated sites.
