Description
This solicitation is for the supply of hex jam nuts to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The nuts must conform to MIL-DTL-1222 Type 2, Grade 5 or Grade 2, washer faced, with dimensions per ASTM B18.2.2. Material is steel, SAE J995 Grade 5 or Grade 2. The requirement includes both right-hand and left-hand thread directions across multiple CLINs. Total quantity is 84 nuts (26 RH Grade 5, 26 LH Grade 5, 2 LH Grade 2, 2 RH Grade 2, 14 LH Grade 2, 14 RH Grade 2). Each CLIN for nuts is accompanied by a CLIN for data requirements including Certificate of Compliance and Chemical & Mechanical Certification. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation. Offerors must submit descriptive literature and complete provisions 252.204-7016 and 252.204-7019. Delivery is FOB Destination to Kittery, ME with required delivery dates of September 1, 2026 for CLINs 0001-0006 and September 25, 2026 for CLINs 0007-0015.
