Description
The City of San Diego Stormwater Department is soliciting proposals from environmental services consultants for two as-needed contracts supporting its Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System. Services may include environmental planning and permitting; CEQA and NEPA compliance; mitigation; environmental monitoring and reporting; regulatory applications; hydrologic, hydraulic, geotechnical, and water-quality studies; erosion control, landscape, and revegetation support; floodway analyses; surveys; stormwater pollution prevention planning; and engineering support for stormwater infrastructure, maintenance, repair, and green infrastructure projects. The work requires a multidisciplinary team that may include environmental specialists, biologists, aquatic resources specialists, cultural resources professionals, geologists, hydrologists, engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, regulatory permitting specialists, hazardous materials experts, and qualified stormwater professionals. The consultant must provide on-call emergency environmental permit preparation and monitoring 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each of the two contracts has a not-to-exceed consultant fee of $3,000,000 and a term of up to 60 months. Proposals must not include price information.
