Description
The City of Los Angeles Harbor Department is soliciting bids for four new, unused propane-powered pressure washer trailer systems. Each system must include an LPG engine, heated burner, 230-gallon non-potable water tank, heavy-duty triplex pump rated at 3,500 PSI and 5.0 GPM, hoses and reels, a tandem-axle trailer, safety equipment, lighting, wiring, brakes, manuals, filters, and related components. Equivalent products may be proposed if they materially comply with the specifications, and prices must include delivery and other charges excluding sales tax. The awarded vendor must provide local pre-delivery servicing, inspections, delivery, required documentation, and operator and mechanical training consisting of two four-hour workdays for Harbor mechanical personnel and one four-hour workday for Harbor operating personnel. Bidders must submit the completed formal bid, Attachment A specification, City Ethics Commission Forms 50 and 55, the completed bid checklist, and any required technical data or manufacturer certification for an alternate or non-authorized product offering.
