Description
This formal construction bid seeks a prequalified Building Contractor "C" for restroom and entry renovations at Fairgrounds Performance Arena Barn 6. The scope includes selective demolition and alterations; new and modified plumbing fixtures, domestic water, sanitary piping, and ventilation; HVAC duct and air-device modifications; wet-pipe fire sprinkler adjustments; gypsum board, tile, toilet compartments, accessories, signage, and acoustical ceilings; and electrical demolition, wiring, lighting, occupancy controls, receptacles, and fire-alarm-related work. The contractor must coordinate work in an occupied facility, provide temporary controls and sanitary facilities, perform testing and inspections, and complete required closeout documentation. Bids must be submitted electronically through the electronic bidding process. Required bid-time items include completed electronic line items, an Anti/Non-Collusion Affidavit, a Business Relationship Affidavit, and bid security. The bid security must equal 5% of the bid; a bid bond is uploaded electronically, while a cashier's check, certified check, or irrevocable letter of credit must be hand-delivered. The successful bidder must later provide the contract, performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds, insurance, and other post-award documents. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days of the Work Order.
