Description
This sources-sought notice is not a request for bids; plans and specifications are not available. The Federal Highway Administration’s Central Federal Lands Division is assessing interest from qualified prime contractors and potential small-business set-aside categories for a planned bridge repair project. Interested firms must email a statement of intent to bid as a prime, applicable socioeconomic categories, a bonding-capacity letter, and a list of comparable road construction projects that include the specified bridge and roadway work. The planned work includes concrete repairs to the bridge superstructure and deck, reconstruction of the bridge approaches, minor drainage improvements, signing, guardrail replacement, deck waterproofing, and a temporary debris shield beneath the bridge. The bridge will be closed to public traffic during construction. The estimated project cost is $2 million to $5 million, with a stated construction duration of 120 days.
