This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) from the Department of Health and Human Services aims to support the continued operation, maintenance, and dissemination of unique database bioinformatics resources crucial for researchers studying animal models of embryonic developmental processes. The grants will fund the ongoing development and enhancement of these resources, provide user training and services, support community-generated data storage and curation, ensure wide dissemination of tools and resources, and expand interoperability with other NIH bioinformatics resources. Eligibility is extended to various entities including Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions, Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISISs), Eligible Agencies of the Federal Government, Faith-based or Community-based Organizations, Hispanic-serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized), Regional Organizations, Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs), U.S. Territory or Possession, and non-domestic (non-U.S.) entities (Foreign Organizations) are not eligible to apply. Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are also ineligible. The funding instrument is a grant, categorized under income security and social services, and health, with Assistance Listing 93.865 for Child Health and Human Development Extramural Research.
