The U.S. Navy is soliciting firm-fixed-price repair services for ENCODER, SHAFT ANGLE components, reference number EB4143-H-02 and CAGE 12050. The scope includes receipt of potentially damaged or incomplete carcasses, teardown and evaluation, complete repair, inspection and testing to the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, final government acceptance, preservation and packaging under applicable military standards, and required marking. Vendors must provide an estimated full-repair price, teardown and evaluation rate, repair turnaround time, throughput constraints, induction expiration date, and the cost of a new item for evaluation purposes. The solicitation requires a proposed repair turnaround time and capacity constraints, with a requested turnaround time of 78 days. Vendors must complete teardown and evaluation within 90 days after receiving carcasses and submit a firm-fixed-price repair quote. Pricing is also requested for the increased-quantity option available 365 days after award. Non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and its CAGE code and provide a signed OEM authorization letter on the OEM's letterhead. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered. The work requires mercury-free material, electrostatic-discharge controls, military packaging and labeling, inspection and testing, and compliance with applicable quality-assurance requirements. The delivery date has been extended to November 23, 2026.
