Description
The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) and its Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) are soliciting applications from qualified applicants to serve as impartial hearings officers. These officers will be responsible for resolving disputes between VR and its applicants, clients, and former clients. Most disputes arise when an individual disagrees with a decision regarding vocational rehabilitation services. Qualified contractors will conduct hearings in accordance with the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Oregon's Administrative Procedures Act, VR Administrative Rules, and Agency Policy. The agency anticipates awarding multiple contracts from this RFA to all qualified applicants. The initial term of the awarded contract is anticipated to end on June 30, 2026, with options to renew in two-year increments to a cumulative maximum of six years.
