Description
The U.S. Army is conducting an Accelerated Capability Event to identify and evaluate TRL 6+ electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities for contested environments. Eligible domestic and foreign organizations may submit solutions in one of four areas: electromagnetic support and tactical surveillance; autonomous network management; electromagnetic environment visualization and battle damage assessment; or electromagnetic attack and active countermeasures. Solutions must support contested and degraded communications environments, open and interoperable architectures, secure data exchange, cyber resilience, and fielding within 180 days of award, as applicable. The competition consists of an application phase requiring a four-page concept white paper and a prerecorded video of no more than five minutes, followed by a potential Soldier exercise and selection of final winners. The Army may award up to $1,500,000 in total cash prizes, including $150,000 to each of up to five final winners, and may provide finalists or winners with opportunities for SBIR, prototype other transaction, or other follow-on contracts and agreements. The submission deadline is October 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time; the white paper must use the specified Valid Eval template, and the video URL must be provided through the competition registration.
