Description
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support intends to procure 20 Cometto EAGasket Kits, part number C087.0103.00, under NSN 6X-5330-LWM044207 and TDP Version 005, on a sole-source basis from Cometto SPA (CAGE A5383). The kits must meet the specified material and physical requirements, have at least 85 percent shelf life remaining upon receipt, and comply with applicable military marking and packaging requirements, including MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-130, and MIL-STD-2073. Standard commercial packaging and labeling will be accepted. Government source inspection under FAR 52.246-2 is required. The contractor is responsible for inspection and must retain inspection records during performance and for 365 calendar days after final delivery. Configuration changes, deviations, waivers, and part-number changes require government approval. Alternate sources must qualify through the applicable government engineering and design-control procedures.
