Description
The Utah Department of Transportation is soliciting a single contractor for a five-year contract covering the sales, installation, repair, and maintenance of electric and solar-powered moving gates at facilities throughout Region 1. The scope includes gates spanning 16 to 35 feet, power and solar-panel work, keypads, remote transmitters, photo eyes, replacement parts, mobilization, and technician repair services. Work includes both new installations and repairs or replacements to existing equipment, with parts required to be readily available and manufacturer warranties required for products and services. Bidders must submit pricing using the required itemized bid price list, along with an executive summary and recent governmental-agency work experience. The contractor must have sufficient financial capacity, be bonded up to $100,000, maintain required insurance, and comply with the State's terms and conditions. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; UDOT does not guarantee any purchase quantity.
