Description
The federal Judiciary intends to procure Second Chance Act goods and services through Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). These services are intended to support federal defendants and persons under supervision. While procurement often occurs during the summer months, it may happen at any time throughout the year based on district needs. Solicitations for BPAs may be issued for districts across the United States and its territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Examples of potential goods and services include, but are not limited to, those falling under NAICS code 624229 (Other Community Housing Services). Specific offerings may encompass cognitive behavioral therapy, child-care services, non-emergency medical services, computer hardware and software, identification assistance, employee tools, equipment, and licensure, transportation, transitional housing, domestic violence intervention, and job training. The specific requirements will be detailed in the solicitation for the BPAs.
