Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to issue an RFQ for on-site 3T mobile MRI services for eligible beneficiaries of the Miami VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide a 3T MRI trailer and board-certified MRI technologists. At least two technologists must be available, with at least three key personnel proposed for credentialing and scheduling; the stated staffing level is at least 80 hours every two weeks, excluding federal holidays. MRI technologists must hold current ARRT MRI certification and registration and Basic Life Support certification, maintain required continuing education, and meet credentialing, privileging, technical proficiency, and English fluency requirements. The expected period of performance is April 15, 2027, through April 14, 2032. The forthcoming RFQ is designated as a 100% SDVOSB set-aside; the notice says it will be cancelled and resolicited if an award cannot be made to an SDVOSB. This is a presolicitation notice, not the RFQ itself; the RFQ is expected to provide submission instructions.
