Description
The Metro Vancouver community is proposing the renewal of a general permit for operators disposing of water treatment residuals from potable water treatment plants within Metro Vancouver. This permit authorizes operators to implement and operate land application of Water Treatment Residuals (WTR). WTR are solid waste products generated during the process of treating raw water sources to produce potable water. The proposed renewal is intended for operators that dispose of WTR from potable water treatment plants located within Metro Vancouver.
