Description
The U.S. Army Arctic Regions Test Center requires specialized non-personal services for annual maintenance, calibration, and performance evaluation of a Baron Services Model VHDD300X DP X-band dual-polarization weather radar system. The contractor must provide experienced engineers with access to proprietary hardware and software to verify that the radar performs according to its installed specifications and operational parameters. The Army intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-price contract on a sole-source basis with Baron Services, Inc. This is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive proposals; interested firms must submit documentation demonstrating their technical capability. The anticipated period of performance is five years, consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
