This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites applications for P30 Cancer Center Support Grants (CCSGs) to support NCI-Designated Cancer Centers. These grants support three types of Cancer Centers: Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Clinical Cancer Centers, and Basic Cancer Centers. The goal is to integrate institutional cancer research capabilities into a transdisciplinary research enterprise, driving discovery and developing more effective approaches to cancer prevention, diagnosis, and therapy. Supported centers are expected to develop Shared Resources, collaborate with other NCI-funded programs, and disseminate research findings. Eligibility for new applications requires applicant institutions to have a significant funding base in annual direct costs of NIH funding that is cancer-focused. Specific minimums apply for Clinical Cancer Centers ($10,000,000) and Basic Cancer Centers ($6,000,000). Renewal applications require a funding base of at least $10,000,000 in annual direct costs of peer-reviewed, cancer-related funding. Foreign organizations and international collaborations are not eligible to apply, and foreign components are not allowed.
