This Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) from the ARPA-H Health Science Futures (HSF) mission office invites submissions for projects that push the boundaries of healthcare innovation. HSF focuses on developing groundbreaking approaches to overcome scientific and technological limitations, supporting cutting-edge, often disease-agnostic research with the potential for real-world translational impact. The initiative seeks proposals in three key areas: Breakthrough Technologies (e.g., advanced therapies, novel diagnostic and treatment methods), Transformative Tools (e.g., bionic devices, synthetic biology, advanced imaging), and Platform Systems (e.g., adaptable molecular platforms, cellular engineering, AI integration). Proposals must represent a revolutionary advance and are specifically excluded if they are evolutionary, incremental, have reached clinical trials, or focus on policy, education, center development, or infrastructure construction. Submissions require a Solution Summary before a full proposal. The award instrument will be Other Transactions (OTs). This amendment updates administrative and national policy requirements, including sections on Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI), Research Security Disclosure, and Intellectual Property (IP), as well as revisions to the Cost Proposal Document and Workbooks regarding labor costs and documentation thresholds.
