Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for a single, firm-fixed-price construction contract to correct electrical deficiencies identified through prior facility assessments. The scope includes construction of a new electrical entrance building, replacement of the medium-voltage loop and electrical distribution equipment, ground-conductor corrections, and cleanup of incidental electrical equipment throughout the campus. Minor HVAC and plumbing improvements are also included. The estimated construction magnitude is $10 million to $20 million, with a stated period of performance of 1,174 days. The opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. This notice is a presolicitation and is not yet an invitation for bids; solicitation materials are expected to become available around October 15, 2026, with bids due approximately 30 days after issuance. Interested vendors must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management and acknowledge all amendments.
