Description
The Air Force Research Laboratory is issuing a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Joint All Domain Persistent Adaptive Collaborative Technologies II (JADPact II) project. This initiative aims to explore command and control (C2) concepts that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomy. The program seeks to ensure warfighter involvement in the development of AI, machine learning (ML), and Human-Machine Teaming (HMT) concepts to identify areas where autonomy can assist warfighters. Individual solicitations will be issued under this BAA, detailing specific objectives. Proposals should demonstrate an understanding of C2 decision functions and present potential product solutions, including a military use case vignette. The research focuses on achieving decision advantage by enhancing C2 systems with automation to improve decision quality and tempo in complex, high-volume battle management scenarios. This is an unrestricted solicitation, encouraging proposals from small businesses. The BAA will remain active for three years from its posting date. Awards may be made as various contract types, including firm-fixed-price contracts or Other Transaction Agreements (OTs).
