Description
Strathcona County is seeking to prequalify engineering consulting firms for one or both areas of specialization: mechanical consulting services and electrical consulting services. The selected respondents may enter into Master Framework Agreements and may be invited to compete in second-stage procurements for capital construction, renovation, renewal, lifecycle replacement, and infrastructure projects at County-owned facilities. Up to four qualified respondents may be selected for each specialization, with each area evaluated independently. The required services may cover the full project lifecycle, including concept and schematic design, design validation, design development, construction documents, drawings, specifications, technical reports, sustainability and decarbonization support, BIM modeling, coordination and clash detection, procurement support, contract administration, construction-phase services, commissioning, warranty support, project closeout, and specialty mechanical or electrical system design. The estimated contract period is 36 months, with a proposed start date of December 15, 2026.
