Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting one contractor for civil works involving construction, rehabilitation, and solarization of two water supply schemes in flood-affected Sindh: SWSS Ali Pur, involving new construction, and SWSS Loolja, involving rehabilitation and new construction, including rehabilitation of the existing bore. The scope includes water-supply and tube-well infrastructure, submersible pumps, pipe networks, electrical systems, solar power systems, civil and structural works, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, testing, quality assurance, environmental and social safeguards, and health and safety measures. Bidders must submit a complete technical and price bid, demonstrate valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration at Category C-4 or above with the specified civil, electrical/solar, and mechanical codes, show at least five years of relevant solarized water-supply experience, and provide three similar contracts valued at least PKR 85 million each that were at least 80% completed or completed within the last five years. The bid must include qualification and financial records, key-personnel CVs, equipment evidence, technical and implementation information, priced BOQs in Excel and PDF, material specification analysis, material datasheets and certificates, environmental and social compliance documentation, and bid security. The original bid security must be delivered separately, while the complete bid is submitted through the supplier portal. Performance security and insurance policies are post-award requirements.
