Description
The Government of Canada is seeking two portable centrifuge lube oil purifiers for use with R&O 77 steam-turbine lubricating oil contaminated by emulsified and salt water. Each unit must use a disc-type centrifuge for liquid separation and clarification, process oil at a minimum of 250 litres per hour at 100 cSt and 40°C, include a minimum 7 kW electric heater, low-pressure and collection-tank level alarms, emergency stop, trolley-mounted wheels, and continuous in-line operation. Units must not exceed 46 inches by 28 inches by 70 inches or 300 pounds and must operate on 110 V/60 Hz main power and 460 V/60 Hz heater power with a maximum current of 25 amps. The supplier must provide Canadian electrical certification before shipment, bilingual English/French maintenance and operating manuals in hard-copy and digital formats, English operating labels, and telephone or email technical support during the warranty period. The firm requirement is for delivery by June 17, 2027, with options for up to two additional units for Fleet Maintenance Cape Breton and up to two additional units for Fleet Maintenance Cape Scott. Award is based on the lowest evaluated price among offers meeting the mandatory technical criteria.
