Description
The United Nations Development Programme in Viet Nam is seeking one international consultant to support implementation and delivery across its Circular Economy, Waste, Chemicals, and Oceans Portfolio. The assignment includes reviewing and synthesizing international good practices; assessing Viet Nam’s policies, institutions, markets, and implementation experience; evaluating portfolio results and lessons learned; and developing recommendations for replication and scale-up. The consultant will also prepare analytical inputs, concept notes, technical briefs, workplans, presentations, knowledge products, and dissemination materials; support stakeholder consultations, technical meetings, workshops, and partnership discussions; and coordinate follow-up actions with the portfolio team and partners. The assignment is office-based in Hanoi, requires 155 working days from November 15, 2026, through June 30, 2027, and includes two deliverable sets before the final set due June 30, 2027. Applicants must have at least a relevant bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant professional experience; evaluation also considers experience in ESG, sustainable finance, circular economy analysis, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and English-language writing samples.
