Description
The United Nations Development Programme is seeking a legal engineering, architectural, or architectural-and-engineering entity, including eligible joint ventures or consortia, to supervise construction of the Pedieos River/Kanlidere Rehabilitation Project Part 2. The assignment includes design review; daily site supervision by a lead engineer and junior engineer; periodic mechanical, electrical, environmental, and topographic supervision; verification of quantities and elevations; environmental monitoring; quality control; payment certification; and reporting to UNDP. Required deliverables include a designs assessment report, weekly work-progress reports, monthly supervision reports, environmental monitoring and other supervision documentation, and quarterly reports during the 12-month defects liability period. The proposed core team must include a lead engineer, junior engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, environmental engineer, and topographer, with at least two women. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of general engineering consultancy experience, relevant completed civil-works supervision experience, financial capacity, and the required personnel qualifications. The contract is expected to run for 32 months, comprising 20 months of works supervision and 12 months of defects liability-period services; a 10% performance bank guarantee is required only from the selected supplier after contract signature.
