Request for Proposals Engineering Design Services Peyton School District Wastewater Treatment System Improvements The Peyton School District is seeking qualified firms to provide professional engineering design permit and construction procurement services provide construction and implementation services The project will replace the existing wastewater treatment system serving the Peyton Junior Senior High School. The proposed replacement wastewater treatment facility is described in Alternative 2 o f the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) dated February 2026. Alternative 2 Right Sized Onsite Treatment System, includes replacement of the existing secondary wastewater treatment components with a new package wastewater treatment system designed for approximately 1,990 gallons per day, while maintaining the existing septic tanks and drainfield. Description
Peyton School District is requesting professional engineering services for the replacement of the existing wastewater treatment system serving Peyton Junior-Senior High School. The scope includes engineering design, permitting, construction procurement, and construction and implementation services. The proposed project is based on Alternative 2 of the February 2026 Preliminary Engineering Report: a right-sized onsite treatment system with a new package wastewater treatment system designed for approximately 1,990 gallons per day, while retaining the existing septic tanks and drainfield. The stated design criteria include Regulation 43 compliance, an average influent BOD5 of 340 mg/L, and assumed TSS of 300 mg/L.
