The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) is seeking proposals for the acquisition of hydraulic excavators for both the St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix Districts. This initiative is part of a broader effort to develop and implement a comprehensive green waste management and disposal program, aiming to reduce landfill volume, conserve airspace, and increase diversion rates across the Territory. The scope of work includes the purchase of two hydraulic excavators, shipping to designated landfills on St. Croix and St. Thomas, and provision for installation and training. Maintenance services and a service agreement are also part of the procurement scope.
