The U.S. Army is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal inspection, vegetation-control, and basic maintenance services for railroad infrastructure and related facilities at U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach. Work covers Katterbach Kaserne, Storck Barracks in Illesheim, and railroad bridges and associated facilities near Oberdachstetten and Wicklesgreuth. The scope includes monthly cleaning and servicing of rail grooves and switches; inspections and measurements of switches, railroad crossings, track infrastructure, culverts, loading ramps, bumpers, bridges, and track superstructure; recurring herbicide application; clearance cutting; vegetation control along track trenches, dams, culverts, and the railroad daylight profile; debris removal and recycling; and preparation of inspection reports, certificates, maps, repair proposals, and other technical documentation. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, vehicles, calibrated equipment, tools, materials, safety equipment, supervision, and required permits and certifications. The work must comply with applicable German railroad, safety, environmental, and vegetation-control regulations, including requirements for certified herbicide applicators and qualified railroad inspection personnel.
