Description
Beloit USD 273 is soliciting bids for internet access and data transmission at approximately 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, district-wide connectivity options up to 100 Gbps, leased dark and lit fiber, self-provisioned or third-party network solutions, and network maintenance and operations. Bids may cover any or all portions of the requirements, and the district may select multiple providers. Fiber and network proposals should address scalable capacity, installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and the equipment needed for operational connections between district facilities. Special construction charges must be separated from recurring costs where applicable. The district is also seeking network equipment and related components, software, and licenses, including cabling, switches, wireless access points, racks, firewall-related items, and managed internal broadband services. Proposals must provide detailed item pricing and descriptions, identify ineligible costs separately, and include applicable fees, taxes, surcharges, and installation charges. Multi-year contracts and voluntary extensions are accepted; the dark-fiber lease must have an initial term of at least one year, with the district reserving the right to rebid the connection annually.
