The National Library of Medicine (NLM) aims to enhance access to and the availability of secure, comprehensive datasets and computational models to foster significant biomedical discoveries. This initiative seeks innovative, large-scale computational methods that can expedite and broaden the scope of curation processes, thereby facilitating data mining and knowledge discovery from the ever-increasing volume of biomedical data generated through advancements in data science. This grant is open to various eligible applicants, including public and state institutions of higher education, non-profits, for-profit organizations (other than small businesses), government entities, and tribal organizations. However, non-domestic (non-U.S.) entities and non-domestic components of U.S. organizations are not eligible to apply. The funding instrument is a grant, with an estimated total program funding of $250,000 and an award ceiling of $250,000. The Assistance Listing number is 93.879 (Medical Library Assistance).
