Description
The Jackson Parish Police Jury seeks bids for materials and services as needed during the 2027 calendar year. Items include culverts, hot and cold asphalt mix, crushed stone, pit-run material, gasoline and diesel fuel, riprap, borrow/fill material, solid waste bin containers, oversized gravel, and roadside vegetation control spraying. Bidders may bid on individual items and must submit separate pricing for each item bid; the specifications include delivery and pricing options for many materials. The vegetation-spraying scope covers approximately 380 miles of roads, with two application rounds per year, GPS tracking of treated areas, and all labor, equipment, materials, qualified supervision, and insurance supplied by the contractor. Some hot-mix pricing options include placement work. Bids must use the furnished bidder proposal sheets; the specifications state that bids are to remain in effect from January 1 through December 31, 2027.
