Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a firm-fixed-price contractor for mid-deployment voyage repairs aboard the USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79). The scope includes crane and rigging services; seawater service check-valve replacement; removal and installation of shipboard insulation and lagging; hydrostatic and operational testing of steam-jacketed kettles; pumping and disposal of up to 10,000 gallons of hazardous-material liquids; and crane, forklift, rigging, transportation, material-handling, and scaffolding support for a gas-turbine-module changeout. The quotation must include the completed SF 18, the completed J-1 pricing breakdown, applicable technical qualification documentation identified in the J-3 checklist, required Section K representations and certifications, and an executed SF 30 only if amendments are issued. Technical documentation must be submitted in English, and award will be made using a lowest-priced technically acceptable evaluation based on technical capability and price. The period of performance is October 22, 2026, through November 6, 2026.
