Description
Parkland County is requesting proposals from professional engineering consulting firms to oversee its 2027 Asphalt Concrete Pavement Road Rehabilitation Program. Phase 1 includes preliminary and detailed engineering design, reports and cost estimates, review and acceptance of the existing Willow Peak Estates design, preparation of one contractor request-for-quotation package covering both project locations, and procurement support. The work covers approximately 1.5 km of streets in the Hamlet of Wabamun and approximately 0.7 km of Willow Peak Estates Subdivision Road. Deliverables must be signed and stamped by a Professional Engineer or equivalent. If additional funding is approved, Phase 2 will include a pre-construction meeting, construction supervision, inspection, contract administration, quality assurance, progress reporting, post-construction inspection, warranty inspections, and final acceptance administration. Phase 2 is not guaranteed, and the County may defer or cancel any phase. Addendum No. 1 clarifies that the consultant must obtain utility and pipeline crossing agreements for Willow Peak Estates, prepare one RFQ covering both sites with pricing split by location, use current applicable transportation standards and guidelines, and account for the County's closure from December 24, 2026, at noon through January 4, 2027.
