Description
The United States Navy is soliciting quotes for a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods and up to six additional months to lease, install, operate, maintain, repair, and replace commercial, non-coin-operated washers and stacked electric dryers. The requirement includes approximately 73 washers and 66 stacked dryers across four housing-facility laundry rooms. Equipment must meet specified size, capacity, electrical, safety, energy-efficiency, and operational requirements, and must be no more than four years old. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, parts, transportation, installation materials, hoses, fittings, exhaust connections, signs, decals, preventive maintenance, repairs, replacements, weekly service visits, service records, quality-control planning, and monthly reporting. The contractor must maintain at least 95% operational availability, respond to repair requests within the stated timeframes, coordinate site access and security requirements, and provide a specification sheet. The acquisition is set aside for small businesses.
