Description
Dorchester County is seeking ten new, unused dual-tube binocular night vision goggles with articulating pods for the Sheriff's Office. The goggles must use Gen II or Gen II+ white-phosphor image intensifier tubes and meet minimum specifications including a figure of merit of 1,800, 64 lp/mm resolution, signal-to-noise ratio of 28, 1x magnification, 40-degree field of view, manually adjustable gain, built-in infrared illuminator, adjustable interpupillary distance and diopter settings, at least 25 hours of battery operation, and water-resistant construction. Each unit must include two rubber eye cups, two demist shields, a lanyard, battery, soft carrying case, cleaning kit, and operator's manual. Quotes must identify the proposed manufacturer and model, tube information, technical specifications, warranty, estimated delivery time, and all shipping and other charges. Delivery is FOB destination, freight prepaid, with prices quoted for ten units exclusive of applicable South Carolina sales and use taxes.
