Description
Sankofa Freedom Academy Charter School is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers for shared, asymmetrical Category One Internet access serving administration and staff. Proposals must provide pricing for 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps download options, clearly identify upload speeds, and include a separately priced /29 static public IPv4 address block. The preferred solution is business-class broadband delivered over HFC/DOCSIS cable or a functionally equivalent wireline or fixed-wireless technology. The proposed solution must include all equipment, facilities, installation, configuration, testing, activation, monitoring, fault management, and 24/7 network operations center support needed for an operational service. Proposals must include a detailed service-level agreement covering availability, latency, packet loss, jitter, repair and response times, escalation procedures, maintenance, service credits, outage reporting, customer portals, and performance reporting. Respondents must provide pricing for 36-month and 60-month terms, with up to two optional one-year renewal periods, and separately identify eligible and ineligible costs, monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, installation labor, taxes, fees, and any special construction charges. Service is expected to be operational by July 1, 2027, subject to applicable E-Rate requirements.
