Description
The United States Navy is soliciting five left training handle stuffing box assemblies for use in a crucial shipboard system. The assemblies must conform to Kollmorgen drawing 056666 and associated parts lists and drawings, including specified material requirements for the stuffing box plug using ASTM-B21 Alloy C46400, Temper H02. The work includes applicable welding and brazing, non-destructive testing, hydrostatic pressure testing, thread and sealing-surface inspection, material certification, traceability marking, packaging, and extensive objective quality evidence. Suppliers must maintain an ISO 9001-compliant quality system or an accepted alternate, submit inspection and test certifications, support government source inspection, and provide certification data through WAWF before each shipment. Final delivery is due within 365 days after the effective date of the resulting contract. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and will be issued as a DX-rated national-defense order.
