Description
The City of Sept-Iles is seeking professional structural and bridge engineering services for the rehabilitation and reinforcement of bridges PO-01 and PO-02, including redesign of their approaches. The scope includes field visits and investigations; analysis of inspection and load-capacity findings; validation of structural elements requiring repair, reinforcement, or replacement; and design of corrective work for steel and concrete bridge structures. The selected consultant will prepare plans and specifications, detailed cost estimates, corrosion-protection and painting requirements, load-limit signage updates, bank stabilization and foundation-clearance plans, and approach improvements involving barriers, roadway, foundations, paving, and finishing. Services also include technical assistance during the construction tender process, including addenda and bid analysis support, as well as office and site supervision, inspections, construction meetings, technical follow-up, and final reports through mandate closeout. The mandate is estimated at four months, with staged deliverables ranging from concept validation through final construction documents.
