Description
The City of Pasadena Water and Power Department is seeking bids to furnish and deliver two variations of outdoor, three-pole, group-operated 34.5 kV disconnect switches, rated for 48.3 kV maximum voltage and 2,000 A continuous current. The specified configurations are circuit-breaker disconnects and bus-tie disconnects. The switches must meet the technical requirements and applicable IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, and ASTM standards; the City will install them in its open-air rack receiving stations. Bidders must provide pricing for all listed line items and submit relevant experience information. Supplier data sheets for each configuration are encouraged but are not mandatory for responsiveness. The contract term is five years from execution, with unit-price adjustments subject to the stated CPI limit. Delivery is to the Pasadena City Yards Water and Power Warehouse.
