Description
The Alabama Port Authority seeks a complete 480/277-volt, three-phase low-voltage switchboard for its McDuffie Coal Terminal. The requested equipment includes a 4,000-amp main breaker, eight 800-amp feeder breakers, metering, protective devices, grounding, and the accessories and interconnections needed for a functional system. The switchboard must meet the specified electrical, environmental, construction, and safety requirements, including applicable UL 891 and NEMA PB 2 standards. The supplier must provide factory testing and certified test reports, drawings and equipment documentation, and delivery. Bidders must include a delivery schedule and pricing for the equipment and factory testing; the buyer will evaluate bids based on price and schedule. The bid package also requires a 5% bid bond or certified check, capped at $10,000, a completed compliance certificate, and evidence of E-Verify enrollment.
