The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is soliciting white papers and proposals for research efforts that will enhance cadet learning, support faculty development, and advance Air Force mission capabilities. Research areas span a broad spectrum, including aeronautics, astronautics, biosystems and natural materials, chemistry, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics, and more. USAFA is seeking research that is unclassified and does not contain proprietary information. The academy encourages partnerships with academia and industry to foster innovation and development in the public arena. Awards are anticipated to be in the form of research and development contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, or other appropriate instruments, with a cumulative award amount not to exceed $99 million.
