Description
Gloucester County Public Schools (GCPS) is requesting proposals for leased lit fiber Internet access and WAN transport services. The Internet access service must be symmetrical and terminated at the demarcation point within the primary network operations center at Gloucester High School, 6680 Short Lane, Gloucester, VA. Pricing is requested for bandwidth ranging from a minimum of 1 Gbps to a maximum of 2 Gbps. The WAN transport service must also be symmetrical and provided via leased lit fiber, with pricing for standard port speeds from 500 Mbps to 2 Gbps. No wireless technologies or topologies are permitted. GCPS is seeking pricing for both 1-year and 3-year contract options. Three-year contracts should allow for upgrades to quoted bandwidth throughout the term, without resetting the term length. All pricing must be submitted on an Excel spreadsheet.
