Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting 300 rolls of white, high-strength virgin polyethylene shrink film, 0.009 inch thick, 25–30 feet wide, and 60–80 feet long. The film must be opaque white, marked “FR” or “FIRE RETARDANT” in letters at least 2 inches high every 4 feet and at least 4 inches from the material edge, and meet one of the specified NFPA 701 fire-retardancy tests. Each order must include signed certifications that the material meets the fire-retardancy requirement and that its manufacturing formula and process have not changed from the approved version. The solicitation identifies HIPP Marine part number 264FR as the brand-name product but permits equal products. Offers for equals must include specifications for evaluation. The completed and signed solicitation, unit pricing, and a separate sheet identifying any exceptions to the specifications are required; product literature is optional. A Certificate of Insurance must accompany the offer, or the offeror must indicate its intent to obtain the required insurance and provide the certificate before performance. Delivery is requested by November 30, 2026.
