Description
The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System is soliciting a contractor to provide five years of 24/7/365 on-call support for its physical network infrastructure throughout MTS facilities and transit operations across San Diego County. The scope includes copper and fiber-optic cabling installation, termination, splicing, labeling, testing, troubleshooting, repair, cable pathways and management systems, network racks and enclosures, and wireless infrastructure installation. The contractor must furnish qualified personnel, labor, parts, tools, equipment, vehicles, and a bucket truck, and must meet response and resolution targets based on service priority. The selected contractor must hold a California C-7 license, maintain Department of Industrial Relations registration, support work in trolley rights-of-way, complete required roadway-worker protection training, and provide 24/7 emergency availability. Proposals must include a technical proposal with required forms and appendices, a separate Excel cost/pricing file, licenses and registrations, financial and experience information, references, insurance evidence, security and compliance forms, and other required certifications. The contract term is February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2032.
