Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of three schools in Hama Governorate and two primary health centers in Deir Ezzor Governorate, divided into two lots. Bidders may bid for one or both lots, but partial bids within a lot are not allowed. The works include construction and rehabilitation activities, electrical and related installations, testing, commissioning, training on operation and maintenance, local service support, and a minimum one-year warranty. Contractors must provide qualified civil/project managers, electrical engineers, HSSE officers, labor, machinery, equipment, and transport. The solicitation requires at least 40 job opportunities at each facility and evidence of equipment ownership or valid leases. All electrical and electronic equipment must be new and not refurbished. The implementation period is 150 days per lot after site handover, including simultaneous completion of both lots within 150 days for contractors awarded both lots. Mandatory site visits are required for the applicable lot(s), and failure to attend disqualifies a bidder. Bids must be submitted electronically through the supplier portal in PDF and Excel formats, with original bid security also delivered to an approved address. Bid security is $11,500 for Lot 1, $13,500 for Lot 2, or $25,000 for both lots; performance security is 10% of the contract value.
