Description
The City of Glendale is soliciting quotes for 20,000 feet of 500 kcmil compact copper triplex underground distribution cable rated at 15 kV. The specified cable must have 175-mil EPR insulation, a 1/3 copper concentric neutral consisting of at least twenty-six #12 AWG wires per phase, an LLDPE jacket, and no factory splices. It must comply with the latest applicable AEIC CS8, ICEA S-94-649, and NEMA WC 26 requirements, and be supplied in returnable metal reels containing 1,250 feet each. The quote must be submitted on the provided form and include pricing, lead time, payment terms, manufacturer and product information, metal pricing data, and the requested technical data tabulation. Certified test reports must be furnished before delivery. Delivery is FOB Glendale, California, to the Glendale Water & Power Warehouse, with 24-hour advance notice. The solicitation accepts either an electronic submission through the PlanetBids portal or one original paper quote and specifications in a sealed, properly marked envelope.
